CAREER EXHIBITIONS – 2019/2020

The Cape Careers Exhibitors Association was established in 1990 when a need was recognized that many high school learners are not provided sufficient exposure to Higher Educational Institutions and Further Education and Training Institutions before they make subject and career choices and leave school.  From humble beginnings the CCEA has grown and presently has 88 registered institutional members comprising Universities, Universities of Technology, Further Education and Training Colleges, Private Colleges and Private Providers of Education and Career Training.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF ASSOCIATION EXHIBITION ACTIVITIES


To provide High school learners with access to study and career information with the minimal disruption of classesTo motivate learners to make well informed and calculated career choicesTo motivate students to further their education after completing high schoolTo satisfy the need for updated information regarding the ever changing study environment and multiplying career opportunities and training being offered at the various institutions.To provide accessible exhibitions on a regular and organised basis as widely spread as possible.To establish and maintain a productive working relationship with the Department of Education and to liaise with schools management to keep them informed about forthcoming exhibitions

2019/2020 planning, presenting and hosting

For the 2019 and 2020 Exhibition program we are once again visiting schools and presenting exhibitions at various venues in and around Cape Town, the Northern and Southern Cape as well as outlying areas.  Our current program is available on request from info@ccea.co.za
